This authentic Colt Single Action Army revolver is chambered in the classic .45 Colt cartridge and features a highly desirable 5.5-inch barrel configuration with all-original parts and its factory-issued original grips. A true collector's piece, this handgun retains all four of its iconic, crisp "C-O-L-T" cocking clicks and is accompanied by an official Colt Factory Letter verifying its historic configuration and provenance. Preserved in very good cosmetic condition with beautiful aged character, it is noted that the cylinder is currently out of time on three of its chambers, a common mechanical variance that can be addressed by a competent gunsmith. This honest, highly original specimen represents an excellent investment piece or a rewarding project for the dedicated fine firearms collector.
