Mint British Enfield No4. Mk2 ROF production. Lee-Enfield UF 1955 is a No. 4 Mk2 bolt-action rifle chambered in .303 British, manufactured in 1955 by the Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) in Fazakerley, England. These highly collectible, unissued rifles were made under contract and famously sat in the British war reserve for decades. While sometimes mistakenly grouped with earlier "Irish Contract" rifles, a large production block of these 1955 rifles was intended for a Royal Air Force (RAF) contract.
