At its core is the matching, original 12-42 dated Springfield barrel featuring a bright, clean bore with excellent rifling, perfectly corresponding to the receiver‚s manufacture date. The rifle is packed with highly desirable, early-war components, most notably a scarce, matching uncut curved operating rod (D35382 6 SA) and a correct D28287-12SA bolt, alongside a highly sought-after locking bar rear sight assembly and a correct internal 12-stamped bullet guide.
