It incorporates the Jones and Taylor’s Patent No. 7715 comb top lever mechanism with a unique takedown device located in the stock. The 30" Damascus barrels are choked Full & Improved Cylinder.
The sidelock action displays border and banner engraving. The checkered walnut straight-grip stock has a comfortable 14¼" length of pull.
Condition is good-plus for an 1885 gun with silvered metal surfaces and barrels slightly off face, consistent with age and use. The low two-digit serial number 56 adds significant collector appeal.
