I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Springfield Model 1884 US Military Trapdoor Rifle with the latest Ramrod Bayonet. Chambered for the 45-70 Gov. 32.625" barrel length with an excellent mirror bore with sharp rifling. The rifle is an excellent working condition, the original finish rates 90%. The action is smooth & firmly crisp. Serial number matching: ”556184", marked US Model 1884, approval “VP” and 24 on the right side of the wood. All is visible on the pictures. These rifles are fun to shoot and very accurate with its long barrel with available ammunitions or proper reloads. The 3 RCBS reloading dies (like new), 37 x brass Remington cases & 18 x .452 300 gr lead bullets are for sale separatly for $150. These US Military trapdoor rifle model 1884 participated with success to many wars: American Indian Wars, Spanish-American War, Philippine-American War and even World War I. I believe this one didn't see much action. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures. What is not written on the description would be on the pictures. It was well kept and preserved. Very collectible. The old cartridges showed on the pictures are not for sale.
