Description:
The Springfield Armory XD-S is a single-stack, striker-fired subcompact pistol chambered in .45 ACP designed explicitly for deep concealment. Measures less than an inch wide, making it significantly thinner and easier to conceal than double-stack compacts like the Glock 19. Springfield manufactured a distinct 4.0-inch barrel variant to provide a longer sight radius and increased ballistics while maintaining a slim profile. Hammer forged steel barrel finished in Melonite. Combines a visual/tactile grip safety (must be fully depressed to fire) with an Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) trigger action lever to prevent accidental discharges. .45 ACP
