Beretta shotguns have long been known for quality. The AL391 Urika is a solid semi-automatic Beretta shotgun that excels in comfort, balance and versatility. This AL391 Urika (serial number AA084046) is here on a consignment sale and will make someone a great shotgun to use for waterfowl, upland birds and even sporting clays.
One strong feature of the AL391 is the self-compensating gas-driven recoil system. This system automatically adjusts for shot shells with different charges and minimizes felt recoil. Having said that, the gun likes to be kept clean so don’t throw it in the safe after a hunt and leave it dirty. Take care of it and it will do an amazing job of taking care of you.
Our shotgun has the 24 inch vent rib barrel with a 3 inch chamber so 2-3/4 or 3 inch shells will cycle reliably. A single bead sight sits at the end of the barrel. One choke is in the shotgun and it is the Improved Modified choke. The bore is nice and clean and the barrel is bright.
The synthetic stock has the rubber, checkered inserts and provides a solid, comfortable grip. The stock is in Very Good condition, although it does show the expected signs of use, just no significant flaws.
The receiver finish has minor finish loss in the area of the bolt but is in otherwise Very Good condition. The barrel finish is also Very Good. There is a small spot of finish loss on the right side of the barrel. This area is shown in a photo.
Overall, this is a very nice Beretta with a lot of life left in it. This is likely to be your go-to shotgun for a variety of tasks. You’ll look good with it and shoot even better!
