Description:
The Glock 36 is a subcompact, polymer-framed semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto (.45 ACP). Introduced in 2000, it is historically significant as Glock's very first single-stack pistol, specifically engineered to provide heavy-hitting .45 caliber firepower in a slim, easily concealable footprint. Despite its lightweight frame and powerful caliber, the Glock 36 uses a dual captive recoil spring assembly. This system, combined with the natural flexing properties of the polymer frame, tames the heavy snap of the .45 Auto round. Unlike the double-stack Glock 30, the Glock 36 sacrifices a few rounds of capacity to drastically reduce frame thickness. .45 Auto
