The Harrington & Richardson (H&R) Model 120 is a vintage, budget-friendly bolt-action repeating shotgun produced primarily during the early 1940s. This specific 16-gauge configuration featuring a 26-inch barrel was designed as a utilitarian, high-capacity field gun for mid-20th-century upland bird and small-game hunters. The H&R Model 120 was built during an era when bolt-action shotguns were highly popular alternatives to more expensive pump-action and semi-automatic models. It features a manually operated bolt mechanism that feeds from a fixed, under-barrel tubular magazine. Uses a heavy steel carrier lifter mechanism to scoop shells up from the tube magazine directly into the chamber as the bolt is manually thrown forward. 16 Gauge
