The Stevens-Savage Model 77D 20-Gauge Shotgun is the down scaled, lightweight counterpart to the 12-gauge variant. Produced between 1954 and 1971, this specific 20-gauge configuration featuring a 26-inch barrel retains the premium, checkered "D-Grade" walnut furniture but scales down the receiver size. This results in an incredibly slim, low-recoil field gun optimized for quick handling on fast-moving game.
