Description:
The Sako 6 PPC is a premium, ultra-precise rifle designed primarily for benchrest competition and precision varmint hunting. Because the 6mm PPC cartridge was originally a "wildcat" round created by necking down .220 Russian brass, Sako revolutionized the shooting community in the late 1980s and 1990s by standardizing the chambering, offering factory-loaded ammunition, and building specialized mini-action rifles to house it. 6mm PPC (often designated by Sako as .6 PPC or 6 PPC USA). This cartridge holds multiple world records for the tightest spread groups at 100 and 200 yards. Equipped with a highly adjustable, match-grade trigger mechanism that can be safely set down to a very light pull weight for competitive shooting. Sako's factory 6mm PPC chambering features a standard neck diameter (often referred to as "6 PPC USA") which allows shooters to fire factory-made Sako or Norma brass without needing to custom-turn the cartridge necks. 6mm PPC
