Auto-Ordnance Thompson 1927A-1 semi-automatic rifle chambered in .45 ACP with an 18-inch barrel and Cutts-style compensator. The rifle features a blued steel receiver and a finned barrel design consistent with the classic Thompson configuration. Furniture includes smooth American walnut components comprising the fixed stock, pistol grip, and finger-groove forearm. The rifle uses detachable box magazines and has a standard capacity of 30 rounds plus one in the chamber.
Design details include the pinned compensator at the muzzle, which extends the barrel length to the listed 18 inches, and the traditional Thompson receiver profile. The .45 ACP chambering and semi-automatic action replicate the external appearance of the original submachine gun while operating in a closed-bolt configuration. Serial number KM1595 is marked on the receiver. The bore condition is described as bright with defined rifling, and the action is noted as strong. The blued finish and walnut furniture present a uniform appearance consistent with the manufacturer’s standard production for this model.
Included with the rifle are two 30-round magazines, an additional pistol-grip forearm, the factory hard case, and original paperwork. These accessories correspond to the factory configuration for the 1927A-1 series and provide the complete setup as originally supplied by Auto-Ordnance.
