The TISAS 1911A1 Stakeout is built around a Government-length 5-inch barrel that maximizes .45 ACP muzzle velocity, delivers a full sight radius for accurate fire at distance, and provides the planted, recoil-absorbing shooting experience that full-size 1911 shooters have relied on. Series 70 internals eliminate the firing pin block from the trigger linkage entirely, producing a lighter, crisper break and a shorter, more positive reset that experienced 1911 shooters recognize immediately as the preferred configuration for both accuracy and fast follow-up shots.
