The Iver Johnson .22 Supershot Sealed Eight is a vintage, top-break double-action revolver chambered in .22 Long Rifle, produced between 1932 and 1958. It earned the \"Sealed Eight\" name because the cylinder is recessed, completely enclosing (sealing) the cartridge heads inside the cylinder for safety and extraction efficiency.

The Supershot Sealed Eight was built on Iver Johnson‚s large frame and featured a blued finish meant to mimic the look and balance of more expensive match pistols. The top-break mechanism allows the shooter to quickly open the frame, which simultaneously activates an automatic ejector to pop out spent cartridges.
