Description:
Parker Bros 12 gauge BH grade built in 1891. This gun has 30" damascus barrels choked full and full. The barrels are on face and fit tightly to the action with no play. The barrels have been honed, but show a minimum wall thickness of .028" six inches from the muzzle and .068" in front of the chambers. It has a highly figured stock with a skeleton butt. The grip cap has a brass presentation cap inscribed "M. Walsham From his friends at the A&V&US&P RR" The gun is beautifully engraved with bird dogs on each side and a dog and stag on the floorplate. Built on a #1 frame it weighs 7lbs. It has the early style fishtail lever. This is a gun that deserves to be restored properly. I am too old to do the restoration so I hope a younger person can take on the project. The price includes shipping. Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
