The Ruger New Vaquero 2005 XR3 was introduced in 2005. This model has a backstrap different than the previous two versions. A good way to identify this model is that it has an internal lock. The Firearm Says New Vaquero.
The 2006 Blackhawk Has a Different Size Frame Than the Early & New Model Blackhawks.
