LETIECQ,PHIL - WIN.52B FULL CUSTOM - 22 LR - NICE GUN - Nice Metalwork & Stockwork - Done in 1980 - 24" Bbl. - 13 1/2" Over Biesen Trap Butt - 8 Lbs. 6 Oz. with Scope Philip D. Letiecq Full Custom Winchester Model 52B 22 Long Rifle Built as a full custom in 1980 with some Metal work by Lenard Brownell. It has what appears to me to be a Winchester 52 barrel turned down from a heavy barrel to a semi-heavy sporter barrel, The action was made by Winchester about 1947, It has a Talley island barrel sling eye and a front ramp on a 24" barrel that has a slight taper to a .615" muzzle diameter, 3 panel bolt knob checkering, A complete custom trigger guard that was built-up & recon toured with custom shaped screws, Custom flush clip magazine release button, Custom checkered safety button, Jeweled bolt body, Custom stocked by Letiecq with a 24 lpi point pattern checkering with ribbons, Ebony forend tip, Lenard Brownell steel grip cap and Brownell 2 screw tiedown rear sling eye, Shadowline cheekpiece, 13 1/2" L.O.P. over a Biesen trapdoor checkered steel buttplate, Dovetailed 2 piece scope bases that appear to by Talley but presently set up with Weaver scope rings with a Bushnell Banner 22 scope installed. 8 lbs. 6 oz. with the scope. Mr. Letiecq was from Homer, N.Y. but did this rifle when he was in Story, Wyoming and finished it in 1980.
