GONCALO ALVES is a very hard fancy tropical wood with incredible black stripes, resembling ebony with beautiful colors ranging from red to yellow & orange. Its finish is a mirror-like shine & an unusual variegated figures.
NO 2 PAIR OF GRIPS ARE THE SAME. EACH WILL HAVE BEAUTIFULLY FIGURED ORIGINAL GRAIN, DIFFERING FROM OTHERS. YOU WILL NOT GET THE PAIR SHOWN IN THE PICTURE!
The Ruger Vaquero made from 1972-2004 is the XR3-RED Model. This is easily determined as XR3-RED is stamped in the grip frame under the grips. Simply remove the grips to determine if your Model applies.
