RARE U.S. DRAGOONS PATTERN 1833 EAGLE SHAKO CAP PLATE. 5 ¼”X 5 ¼” silvered and gilt copper plate which was the first U.S. Army “Eagle” hat plate. 100% original and in fine condition with traces of the gilt and silver finish and balance of finish a very handsome dark, even patina.
