Made ca. 1820 this pistol would rate very good plus under NRA Condition Standards For Antique Firearms. It has a 5 & 1/4 " octogon barrel and an overall length of 9 & 1/2 ".There are front and rear sights, a captive ramrod, a working sliding safety, (so there is no 1/2 cock position- not needed) a silver band on the barrel, ( a sign of quality craftsmanship) a full length checkered walnut stock in excellent condition, an unmarked escutcheon plate, engraving on the hammer, lock and trigger guard. The action is strong. The metal had been blued. Some shows on the lock, a little on the barrel. An antque method of repair shows on the left side of the stock. I suspect the damage was caused when a bulet from another pistol struck this one, A NO interest payment plan is available As this is an antique it may be sent directly to a new proud owner.
