The receiver is beautiful color case hardened steel with scroll engraving arround a gold inlaid pointer & pheasants on the left, 3 grouse & a woodcock on the right, retriever with a pheasant on the bottom and a flushing woodcock on the trigger guard. The operating lever is a unique open wheel with a gold inlaid crown on top. Straight grain European walnut with high contrast streaks is used for the rounded pistol grip stock and Schnabel forend. Multi-point checkering with double line bordering covers the pistol grip, almost all of the forearm and 100% of the butt plate.
