The rifle & pistol are finished in beautiful satin grey with extensive, dark shaded, dollar bill scroll around the muzzle & breech ends of the barrels, receivers and trigger guards. The right side of the pistol receiver is engraved "La Silueta Elegance" with surrounding scroll work. The right side of the rifle receiver is engraved "EL Medallon Elegante" and again surrounded by scroll. The matching sights are a ramped blade in the front and micro adjustable 'V' in the rear. The left-eject pistol and right-eject rifle have matching jeweled bolts with checkering on the knob handles.
Triple 'X' fancy American black walnut with beautiful burl grain is used for the stocks. The rifle has a pistol grip with satin grey cap, cheekpiece and a Schnaubel forearm. The pistol has a right hand thumb rest and a matching Schnaubel forend. Multi-point checkering has been cut into all grip surfaces with care and craftsmanship. A hand rubbed oil finish covers both firearms.
The set comes in a black walnut, custom fitted presentation case. The trim molding, recessed brass hinges and three key locks give the case a custom furniture look. There is a satin grey plaque affixed to the inside of the lid, engraved " The Elegante Series, No Four of Fifty." The fitted lining and button tuffted display cushion are covered in lime colored felt. Accessories include a 'Wichita' buckle, wood cartridge block and the brass case key. (Note that reloading dies and brass as shown are included.) Documentation is included to show that the El Elegante Series commemorates the birth of silhouette shooting in Mexico.
