LOP 14 1/2" over brown leather recoil pad ... drop comb 1 3/8" ... drop heel 2 7/16" ... bore dia: L.616 R.614, bore restrictions L.007(IC) R.002(Sk), wall thickness: L.040 R..038 ... ejectors ... non-automatic safety ... single non-selective trigger. Manufactured in 1975.
The engraver's signature, "A.Tuscano", is on the trigger plate. He did a beautiful job with the detailed floral scroll & rose covering the color case hardened steel sideplates and a down right masterful job with the fine gold wire inlay surrounding all borders including the trigger guard, operating lever, upper & lower tangs, forearm release hardware and even around the chambers of the barrels. (Please see photos). High contrast, well marbled grain pattern makes the European walnut stock very special. The stock feature a straight English grip, dropper points and a sculpted beavertail forearm that gives a sleek look to the gun.
This gun comes in a tan leather case lined with red velvet with a 'Puccinelli' label on the lid and keys and proof certificate are inside. All blue is in excellent condition and the case hardened metal retains all its color. The action is tight and the bores are clean and bright.
