This is flat out one classic Pre-War Rigby that remains in superb mechanical condition. This is a nice double rifle. /////////////////////////////////// Mr. Harry Kell is one of the greatest of the early British gun engravers. As this gun displays his scroll work was somewhat larger than that which is so typical on most English guns with smaller scroll work. He engraved for most of the best makers in London and he eventually moved to the Purdey factory. It was at Purdey's that Ken Hunt, another master, met his teacher.
