Custom Aegis II A lightweight, full-size 1911 with specialized features for carry and defense plus low 9 mm recoil         Wide slide serrations, bobbed thumb safety, smooth magazine release and 9 mm chambering set the Aegis apart. Thin rosewood fluted grips and 30-lpi front strap checkering ensure a positive grip while reducing diameter to better fit smaller hands. Carry Melt treatment for rounded and blended edges that will not snag clothing and holsters. Wide slide serrations, bobbed thumb safety, smooth magazine release and 9 mm chambering set the Aegis apart. Tactical Wedge 3- Tritium night sights are self illuminating, a low light tactical advantage.
