My personal Hemingway Tribute Rifle. EH's serial number (from Hemingway's Guns, by Calabi, Helsley, Sanger) was #956, this example is #719. Same caliber and configuration as Hemingways, this rifle has a superb 23" barrel/bore, excellent mechanicals and a gorgeous stock. Lyman sight lives in the trap butt when the scope is mounted. There's also a spare front sight blade stowed in the buttstock. There is a small wood repair under the bolt, looks like its been there for a long time, and it is solid. Factory stock is crack-free, with nice, crisp checkering. Zeiss Zielklein scope has clear optics; rear upper scope ring half has evidence of a brazed crack repair...just part of the rifle's history. Sling studs are standard G&H fare, and fit Winchester Super Grade sling swivels. An exceedingly handsome rifle, fit for any collector's gun room. Call or email for more details. C&R OK.
