Description:
A fine folk art oil painting depicting a grizzly bear being roped by 3 cowboys. This really happened and was painted from memory by Harry...he was one of the cowboys who participated in this roping in the 1950's on Black Pine Mountain Range in Philipsburg Montana. The painting is framed and remains in excellent condition...signed and dated by Harry Bentz. The story was that the grizzly had been killing some cattle on several of the local ranches and they tracked the grizzly down and roped him in. The painting measures 31 1/2 inches wide and 21 1/2 inches tall not including the frame. USPS priority mail shipping is 85.00
