Description:
I have for sale an extremely rare little gun that is as pretty as it is rare. This is a Browning Superposed Superlight 410 in Pointer grade. I purchased this beauty from the original owner. He actually shot the gun and at some point sent it to Briley and had thin wall flush choke tubes installed. Said he wanted to hunt doves and shoot skeet with it so this worked out for him. In any case, it comes with 5 flush tubes, skeet, skeet, improved cylinder, modified, and full along with the Briley wrench. When I bought the gun it had a few marks in the finish and some bluing wear so I sent it to Arts Gun Shop for a complete restoration and what a beautiful job they did. Arts to my mind is the premier Browning specialist and what a job they did on this gun. If I hadn't told you it was done you would never know it I promise you. No way you can tell it was restored but I wanted to give full disclosure to whoever is lucky enough to get this gun. These is not a single mark on it that I can find. I'll call it 99.9% condition and it also has great wood. Now for the specifics on the gun. It has 26 1/2" barrels with vent rib. Stock dimensions are 1 1/2 X 2 1/4 X 14 3/8 over the original and correct Browning plate. Weight is 6 pounds 8 ounces and cast is neutral. Beautiful engraving was done by M. Bodson and you can see his signature on the picture of the left side in the lower right corner of the receiver. From my research I find there were only 59 Superlight Pointer grade 410's ever made so this is indeed rare. Gun comes in a Browning Superposed box from the correct era but the label is not correct for this gun. Serial number is 319 J76. Also comes with the Browning Manual. Any spots you see on the stock are simply reflections and not imperfections of any kind. Price of the gun is $13,000 plus $75 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned. Contact me with any questions you might have on this very special little gun.
