Description: CASED PAIR OF JOHAN NOVOTNY OF PRAGUE PERCUSSION DUELLING/TARGET PISTOLS CA. 1860’S-70’S. 17” o/a with 11” octagon .36 cal. rifled barrels signed “J. NOVOTNY A PRAGUE”. Rare set of Austro-Hungarian Empire era Bohemian pistols primarily intended for target but which could also be used as duelers. In near mint condition with all the plum blue and case colors. Stocks with nearly all the finish. Mint bores and perfect working order. Set triggers work perfectly. Truly superb condition. Felt lined case with all accessories is original to the guns and includes the original accessories.
