Description:
Winchester antique 1873 24” Barrel .38-40 (.38 WCF) caliber rifle with Winchester/ Buffalo Bill Cody Museum authentication letter. Octagon barrel. Made in 1896, third model. Nice sharp rifle with a mostly brown patina on the barrel. Frame is more of a gray patina. All visual markings are well formed and original. Wood is good with some handling marks on fore-end and heel of stock. Bore overall is fair with a a few spots of pitting. Action works smoothly and perfectly. Very shootable.
Rifle is antique (MFG 1896) so no FFL or C&R License needed. Ships direct to buyers address.
