Description:
Gun is elaborately engraved in the typical Nimschke style pattern as is the Cylinder. Gold cylinder has traces of original gold remaining. Gun features original Ivory grips with a family monogram on one side. Marked underneath the frame is "Presented to C.T. Dupont Esquire from his friends Windsor August 10, 1872". Mechanical condition is excellent. The case is excellent as well with the correct Hickory cleaning rod and an empty box of Smith & Wesson cartridges. Lining is very good with just light compression marks where the revolver laid. Beautiful gun!
