Description:
A handsome 7-3/4 pound ejector 12ga, 30" barrels, open choke on the left, and triggers turned for a left-handed shooter. 14-3/8" pull over a fresh Pachmayr pad, Drops 1-3/4 and 2-3/8" with no noticeble cast. Three position non-automatic safety: in its rear position the front trigger fires the left barrel. This gun should be comfortable for right handed shooters as well. Barrels close tight on face, and properly-timed ejectors function with vigor. Bores are clean and shiny, measure 0.730 and choked 0.010 and 0.040 (MOD/FULL) "London Steel" barrels ring nicely, are numbered to the action and fore end, and the bluing is excellent. Has 2-1/2" chambers with long forcing cones; robust, thick breeches, could ream and clean-up nicely to 2-3/4" chambers if desired. Wood is solid, has some gorgeous figure, crisp checkering, and hand-rubbed oil finish. Serial# RE303xx made around 1920. Email or call for more info. CA OK, C&R OK.
