Winchester ~ 70 Safari Express ~ .416 Rem Mag
Description:
The only rifle you'll need for dangerous game: the Winchester 70 Safari Express. Known as the "rifleman's rifle," this type of model 70 has been popular throughout history with hunters. Shooting Times magazine awarded the Winchester 70 the title "Gun of the Century" in 1999. Get on target quickly with the hooded brass-bead front sight and adjustable, folding rear sight. A Grade I satin finished checkered walnut stock aligns your eye perfectly with these sights. Its pre-'64-style action delivers dependable performance combined with a free-floating 24 inch cold-hammer-forged barrel with a recessed target crown for enhanced accuracy. This Winchester 70 is in very good condition, with a couple marks on the barrel near the front and rear sights, and nicks in the wood on the right side of the stock, in addition to marks on the left side of the stock near the receiver and rear of the stock. The bore is excellent, with clean, sharp rifling.
