This fine crock remains in excellent condition and even has an old original carved wood stopper. It has a reeded mouth with only a small chip on the rim. Handle remains in excellent original condition and the crock does not have any cracks or repairs of any kind. The crock has the early mark for "Goodwin & Webster" which from my research dates it to the 1820 period. The crock measures about 16 inches tall...9 1/2 inches wide and measures 6 inches across the base. A beautiful piece of American pottery from a well known potter.
