#2066, Paul Jaeger, Jenkintown, Pa. Made For W.A.S.H: A 7mm Remington Magnum Bolt Rifle on a FN Mauser Action with a Claw Extractor, A lot of Engraving by Mr. Claus Willig with a Gold Grizzly and Gold border, The FN action was built about 1970, The complete Custom Classic was Made in September of 1981, 22 1/2"" barrel, Clean barrel without open sights, Redfield 1 piece scope base with 1" rings, Jaeger fully adjustable trigger, Sliding safety on the right side, FN hinged floorplate with a frontal bow release, Jeweled bolt, 2 panel bolt knob checkering, A "Jaeger" Custom Sporter stock, Fairly nice wood, Complete wrap around point pattern checkering, Shadowline cheekpiece, Ebony forend tip, Sling eyes on the stock, Engraved steel grip cap, 13 7/8" LOP over a 1/2" pad and will go to 14 7/16" with a 1" pad added, 7 lbs. 15 oz. as is, The piece is very well engraved by Mr. Claus Willig. The coverage includes the floorplate, magazine, trigger guard and the grip cap. It has a gold inlayed Grizzly and full gold borders. All of the engraving is relief cut to near deep relief and is very well executed. The bore is as new, The original blue remains at 99%, The original stock finish at 98%, The checkering is at 100%, The inletting is well done with the recoil lug glass bedded. I am not sure this piece ever went hunting, if it did it stayed cozy by the campfire. Mr. Claus Willig was born in Germany in 1939, he started his skill under the watchful eye of his father Mr. Emil Willig.
