Description:
This nice, sound German Mauser was originally an 8x60 but has been rechambered and reproofed to a 8mm06. It . has some dings on left side of stock at the action and a small chip at the toe of the stock. About 25% engraving and has a Greener safety as well as the standard Mauser wing safety. Some case colors are still on the action and the blue is good. Double set triggers in the horn trigger guard that has no cracks. Nice wood with a shadow cheek peice. Horn butt and grip cap. One standing sight and one folding leaf rear sight. .323 or S bore. Bore is good with the groves being dark. 7 pounds 1 ounce with LOP 14 3/16"; DAH 2 7/8"; and DAC 1 1/2" Barrel is 24 inches. Known as the poor man's magnum. A set of Pacific dies comes with the rifle.
