Here is a really fine Lever Action Rifle from the R&R 40 year Winchester collection which is being liquidated. This Model l873 long barrel rifle is in the highly desirable .38 WCF caliber with most blue and wood finish remaining. It was ordered from the factory with Special Order features which include a longer than standard octagon barrel and a Winchester Factory Letter which will be included in the sale. It states:
"Winchester Model 1873, serial number 200859B listed as a rifle, Caliber 38, 28" Octagon Barrel, plain trigger. Shipped July 10, 1886." Bore and Action are excellent and it has an original tang peep attached. There aren't many l873's around that have survived for nearly 138 years in this amazing condition. If you collect only the finest in Winchester levers you'll want this outstanding long barrel "73" and we are open to offers on it. which we need to sell so make us an offer on it!
