For sale is a very nice Springfield Armory 1903 Style A Match Rifle manufactured 1930/31 (also called "US Rifle, Caliber .30, Special Rifle", "Rifle, US Caliber .30, Model 1931, International Match", and "Rifle, US Caliber .30, M1903 Heavy Barrel" among others). Chambered in 30-06 with a 31" heavy bull barrel. Fitted with a Swiss Haemmerli adjustable buttplate. Sights are a Lyman 48C rear sight and Winchester Globe front sight. Also fitted with a Lyman 5A scope. This rifle is in excellent condition with a nice wood stock free of any major damage or defects. The bore is shiny with no signs of pitting or rust and the rifling is very defined. Barrel bluing is nice with little, if any signs of wear. This piece was part of a collection and rarely, if ever shot.
