Here is a beautiful Holland & Holland Deluxe .270 Win. Mauser Bolt Action Rifle with a Schmidt & Bender Scope and Hard-Case. This rifle is in excellent to mint condition overall. The walnut stock has a beautiful grain and figure to it. The checkering is excellent and sharp. The butt-plate and forend tip are made from horn. The stock features case-hardened cross-bolts with a floral motif. The pistolgrip cap is case-hardened and includes a sight compartment. The floorplate is engraved with a floral motif and states “4 CARTRIDGES”. The bolt handle is engraved with the same floral motif. The 3-Position safety is gold lettered with a golden “S”. The barrel states “HOLLAND & HOLLAND BRUTON STREET LONDON”. This rifle has a ramp front sight and express style rear sight with a fixed rear sight and a folding leaf rear sight. The scope mounting system of this rifle is quick detachable claw-mount style. The rifling is flawless. The blueing is excellent. Rifle is rated at 99%+ overall. The stock shows some very minor storage handling marks. The scope is a German made Schmidt & Bender Variable 3 - 12 x 50 #4 Reticle First Focal Plane with flawless optics. The barrel length is 25”. The LOP is 14 1/2”. Overall Length is 46 1/8”. The hard case is internally padded with a green felt interior and green canvas exterior.
