# 34 $150- DESIGN - None A beautiful antique- nicely colored natural horn. SIZE- 7 1/2 curved X 3" at bottom (also curved). RILING FLASK BOOK REFERENCE - # 1106 page 397. CONDITION- Very Good. a few closed cracks. MADE OF - shaped horn. SHAPE - Rounded and curved- very attractive. The seams all around are secured with a brass edgeing. The top is brass.
#145- $100-- DESIGN None- Just a nice Black & White naturally marked horn. SIZE- 10" curved X 2 1/2" at bottom (a large flask). RILING FLASK BOOK REFERENCE - See # 1158 page 400 for a similar flask. . CONDITION- Excellent - looks almost new. MADE OF - Natural horn, wood, with a leather carry strap. SHAPE - large curved horn.
#73 $40- THIS "FLASK" IS A DIASASTER. IT LOOKS LIKE IT WENT THROUGH SEVERAL WARS (and didn't quite survive).The seams are glued together, the leather is very dry, the chargeing mechanism is missing, the top has been pluged with wood, etc., etc. It is full of shot. It might look good on display with an old rifle or shotgun. It will be FREE to anyone who buys a flask from me for $125- or more (plus the $15- shipping charge). Flasks are sold separately.
