***Surgical Kit***.......... (4 pieces +) Civil War-Spanish American War. This was purchased at an that had several Civil War items. I'm assuming it may be connected. It has the following: 2 scalpels, tiny bone (?) saw, small dental type mirror with ebony handle, 2 surgeons needs and thread in original wrapper. I did not see any manufacturers marks on the instruments or box. The box is 15 1/4 x 5 x 3 1/2 inches. It appears to be made of wood, with some type of fabric over it.......................................***Civil War Field Desk***........ with Stamp Waxes & 2 Glass Ink Wells. Closed, it measures 13 3/4" x 8 3/4" x 5". Open, it's 18" x 13 3/4" x 5". in fair to good condition. There are storage areas for paper, etc., behind both writing surfaces. aa130-136..................................................***Civil War US Pattern 1864 Cartridge Box***................................With TINS!!!... Also has two small rolls of what appears to be denim material in tins(cleaning patches?). Also has a hook attached to the top of the box....S/H $45 (International is more) ....NO PAYPAL.....
