Description:
Marlin 39 with HS serial # and vintage Marlin Scope set up.  This is a very rare Marlin 39 scope set up. These 4 power scopes were made by by Wollensak Optical Company of Rochester, New York. Mounts were made by Marlin though in the 1930's. Has a typical reticle in the scope and the scope is clear and mounts are working great.  The scope is called a #2 telescope sight and is found in Brophy book on page 679. Bore on this rifle is a perfect 10. 10% case color still visible, bluing I think is about 70%. Trigger pull is little over 3 lbs. Wood is great with handling marks.
