"This is a very interesting 12 GA Comblain pressure test shotgun. The Comblain rifle was made in Belgium in the 1880s and was used by the Belgian and Brazilian armies. This pressure test shotgun has a 29"" round barrel with an excellent bore. All metal is blue/brown. There are light wrench marks on the barrel and a dent in the right side of the receiver. The lower tang is broken at the trigger guard but, as this gun would have been held in a fixture, it doesn't really affect anything. There is no stock. The bottom of the receiver is marked ATF7086, probably because someone mistakenly thought it was a modern firearm. The specially made receiver is reinforced on the top. There only marks beyond the ATF number are several proof marks on top of the sliding breech block. The action functions correctly. If you collect Comblains or test guns, you don't have this one!
