Original fine condition very RARE French Model 1895 Navy Daudeteau rifle, but dated 1883! . Manufactured at St Denis from captured Mauser 1871 single shot rifles from the Franco Prussian conflict . 31 inch round barrel with exceptional, clean rifled bore . Matching bot and receiver. Overall length 51 inches . Very fine original rifle manufactured in 1895 ,retains most of the original arsenal blue finish . Walnut stock is very fine with no cracks or repairs . These rifles where later sold to Uruguay, but this appears to have ot left France . Cartridges are made from resizing 7.62x54 brass . Antique pre 1898 mfg . a scarce gun not easily found. Check my inventory of rare grips, unusual gun parts, barrels and holsters. Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
