Description:
An extremely well done pair of Roman soldier bronzes. One is a battle dressed male wearing a plumed helmet with a shield and short sword. The other is a woman in battle dress with a shield and plumed helmet. They appear to be unmarked and of very high quality. Both are mounted on brown / gold colored marble bases. We do not know the age of this pair but believe them to be antiques, purchased by our fiiend while stationed in England with the U.S. Airforce.
Dimesions-- 9.75" and 10".
Condition-- Near perfect with the exception of a few chips to the marble bases, including what looks like one repaired chip.
