A fine and rare painting on antique Ivory of a Royal Mughal Couple in a Palace setting. Circa 1850 this miniature painting is unsigned. Most of these can be attributed to a specific artist by style and also the Royal couple could also be named. You can see the ivory grain on the reverse. The painting has great color and there are no cracks in the ivory. The painting measures 3 7/8 inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide.
