Description:
This is a very nice Browning 16ga. with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, produced during mid to late 1940's. The 26 inch mat rib barrel is stamped Browning Arms Company ST. Louis MO, and is fitted with a Poly-Choke and bead sight. Receiver is engraved with the Browning Trademark, along the bust of John Browning. This one has the more modern crossbolt safety, and the magazine cutoff on the left side of the receiver. The right side of the receiver sports scroll work. Crisp checkering on the forearm and pistol grip round, knob with black plastic Browning butplate.
