Description:
A fantastic Montana Folk Art painting circa 1970 by Harry G. Bentz. Oil on canvas board and framed measuring 28 inches wide by 24 inches tall not including the frame. This oil painting depicts a mother grizzly with a single cub observing a hunters camp in the distance. The hunters camp has a roaring fire with their canvas tent up and horses. Harry painted of his experiences as a Cowboy, rancher, professional bronc rider and hunting guide in the 1940's thru the 1970's. Signed and dated '70. Harry was a great fan of Frederic Remington and Charles Russell and painted in a similiar style. This is a stunning Montana folk art painting and the subject matter doesn't get any better!!!
