A rare book composed of stone or copper engravings of Spanish Infantry and Artillery Battle formations and manuvers, circa 1778-1779, reign of Carlos III. Gilded calf leather covers with 66 pages of military manuevers and formations for Infantry in the field, fort and cannon defense operations and sword fighting drill tecniques at the end. This type of book would have been presented only to the highest rank military Generals of the period. This book also could have been gifted to a Commander of the Revolution here in the United States. A very historic account of Spanish Military tactics from the 1770's, The book measures 8 inches tall and almost 17 inches wide.
