Description:
A fine and high condition original US belt and buckle from the Civil War. The buckle is original to the belt. The belt remains in excellent condition, soft and supple and uncut. Clear and legible makers mark and inspectors cartouche stamped in the leather. The belt is long, 49 inches, would have easily fit a 42-44 inch waist, must have belonged to the Quartermaster. A fine civil war period belt and buckle for the advanced collector. USPS priority mail is 16.50
